Work Experience Opportunities
We offer unpaid work experience during the summer months to those who are interested in gaining an insight into the work that we do at Osmond & Osmond. We accept applications between 1st April and 31st May each year. Please send a CV and covering letter to Sarah Cato, explaining why you are interested in gaining experience at Osmond & Osmond.
Graduate Opportunities
We offer approximately 2 training contracts a year and recruit individuals from all backgrounds. At Osmond & Osmond you are guaranteed a high level of responsibility from day one, providing you with the skills and experience necessary to develop into a confident and successful solicitor. You will receive expert support and supervision to manage your own files and will interact with clients on a daily basis. You will be involved in a whole range of work covering all aspects of conveyancing, litigation, wills and probate and commercial matters, providing you with a unique breadth and depth of knowledge. To make sure that you are reaching your full potential, you will receive monthly file reviews and six monthly appraisals, where we assess your progress and set targets for further development. We also recognise the value of a good work/life balance and encourage all trainees to take up extra curricular activities.
What we look for
Applicants must possess at least 26 UCAS points and a 2:1 degree or higher. As well as academic ability, our trainees must be ambitious, motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are not afraid of responsibility. You must be a confident communicator, be able to demonstrate initiative and have a good sense of humour.
